Protect patients, staff, and survey readiness. Rock Pest Control delivers patient‑sensitive, survey‑ready Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for hospitals and medical campuses across the Kansas City metro, including Lenexa, Kansas City, and Lee’s Summit. We schedule around quiet hours and coordinate with Infection Prevention while focusing on pharaoh ants, small flies (dietary/labs), German cockroaches (dietary/EVS), rodents (docks/compactors), and occasional bed bug events (ED/behavioral health)—without disrupting care.

Survey‑ready documentation aligned with The Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS expectations: digital logbook, device maps, trend charts, and CAPA notes.
Infection‑control‑minded IPM: non‑chemical first, low‑odor/low‑VOC options, ICRA‑aware planning, and label‑directed precision.
Bait‑forward ant strategy for pharaoh ants to prevent budding; no repellent sprays in sensitive zones.
Small fly programs (drain mapping, enzyme/foam rotations, moisture audits) for dietary, cafés, labs, and restrooms.
Discreet scheduling (after‑hours/unmarked options) and rapid response for patient‑area sightings.
Bed bug response protocols for ED/LTC‑transfer scenarios with interceptors, targeted treatments, and room turnover coordination.
Exclusion‑first approach: sealing pipe penetrations, door sweeps, utility chases, and dock gaps; tamper‑resistant devices only.
Staff communication & training: brief unit huddles with EVS/Nursing and clear escalation paths to our healthcare lead.
Data‑driven trending with thresholds, heatmaps, and root‑cause analysis to continuously lower risk.
Walkthrough of patient rooms, nurses’ stations, isolation rooms, OR/ICU adjacencies, sterile processing (SPD), pharmacy/cleanroom adjacencies (USP <797>/<800>), laboratories, dietary/café, EVS closets, waste handling/compactors, docks, mechanical rooms, and exterior canopies.
Ingress/harborage mapping (pipe/conduit penetrations, base voids, door sweeps, slab joints, ceiling/voids) and moisture/leak checks.
Rodent control: exterior bait stations; interior multi‑catch/snap stations in locked, barcoded covers; ceiling/void monitoring as needed.
Sticky monitors for cockroaches/ants; interceptors for bed bug response where indicated; pheromone traps in dietary storage.
Insect light traps (ILTs) with shatter‑resistant bulbs placed out of patient sightlines; capture‑tray trending.
Drain monitoring grids for small flies in dietary, cafés, labs, and restrooms.
Non‑chemical first: exclusion, sanitation coaching, vacuum/steam, and clutter reduction.
Label‑directed crack‑and‑crevice applications in non‑sterile areas; room posting/re‑entry per label and policy; PPE and signage per ICRA.
Pharaoh ant bait programs; drain enzyme/foam rotations; moisture control and fixture audits.
Bird pressure mitigation for docks/canopies focused on exclusion and sanitation where permitted.

Very professional. And very efficient. I would recommend them to do the job.
these guys are great! Excellent at every step. Reasonable and friendly. i recommend rock pest control to anyone/
We had a rental house that we found to be literally full of fleas after the tenants moved out. It was so bad that we couldn’t do any of the work that needed to be done. These guys came out promptly, treated the inside and outside and solved our flea problem. I thought the price was very reasonable too.
Did a good job, would highly recommend them to others
My wife and I used Rock Pest Control for a few critters around the house. They were always very kind, helpful, and, most importantly, great at their job! I would definitely recommend them if you have any pest control needs.
