Create a safe, distraction‑free learning environment. Rock Pest Control provides discreet, student‑safe Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for K‑12 schools, school districts, preschools & childcare, charter schools, colleges & universities, dorms, athletics, cafeterias, and campus housing across the Kansas City metro, including Lenexa, Kansas City, and Lee’s Summit. We schedule around bell times, testing windows, and breaks to keep classrooms open and families confident.

Student‑safe IPM with non‑chemical first methods, low‑odor/low‑VOC options, and label‑driven precision.
Discreet scheduling: before/after school, weekends, and holiday breaks; unmarked options on request.
Cafeteria/food service alignment with local health codes—clean audits for kitchens, concessions, and vending areas.
Dorm & residence hall expertise (bed bug monitoring/response, interceptors, education for RAs and housing staff).
Rodent exclusion for dumpsters, dock doors, portable classrooms, and kitchens; anchored, tamper‑resistant devices only.
Data‑driven reporting: device maps, capture trends, thresholds, and corrective actions in a digital logbook.
District‑wide consistency for multi‑site campuses with centralized KPIs and a single point of contact.
In‑service training for custodial, nutrition, and facilities teams to prevent re‑infestation.
Walkthrough of classrooms, cafeterias/kitchens, food storage, teacher lounges, nurse’s office, gyms/lockers, auditoriums, libraries, labs, dorms, maintenance shops, trash corrals/compactors, loading docks, bus barns, and exterior grounds.
Ingress/harborage analysis: door sweeps, slab/expansion joints, rooflines, pipe penetrations, vending corners, and clutter zones.
Moisture/leak checks in restrooms, kitchens, mop sinks, and mechanical rooms.
Rodent control: exterior bait stations; interior multi‑catch/snap stations in locked covers; ceiling/void monitoring as needed.
Sticky monitors in kitchens, storage, and problem classrooms; pheromone traps for stored product pests in cafeterias.
Insect light traps (ILTs) with shatter‑resistant bulbs positioned away from student sightlines.
Drain monitoring for small flies (phorid/moth/fruit) in kitchens, concessions, and restrooms.
Dorm monitoring: bed bug interceptors and targeted inspections during turnover.
Non‑chemical first: exclusion/sealing, sanitation coaching, vacuuming/steam, clutter reduction.
Label‑directed crack‑and‑crevice applications for German cockroaches, ants (including pavement & odorous house ants), rodents, small flies, and occasional invaders.
Ant bait‑forward strategy around classrooms and labs; avoid repellent sprays that cause budding or migration.
Drain bio‑enzyme/foam programs for kitchens and concessions; stinging insect treatments for stadiums/bleachers when needed.
Clear room posting & re‑entry times; PPE and signage per district policy.

Very professional. And very efficient. I would recommend them to do the job.
mark and his partner are great guys. prices are great compared to other companies. mark heat treated our place and my wife was convinced the bugs were at here parents place also. so marks partner went over there and did a inspection. we all were already for sure her parents had them and were ready to schedule a heat treatment for their house as well. after the inspection we were told we were wrong, it was just a similar looking, harmless bug and there was no need for the treatment. i will recommend these guys for sure.
Rockpest is great! We had bed bugs and they cost less than other services and were thorough, friendly, and helpful! Mark is professional and he knows what he’s doing, we were well taken care of. They still come monthly to spray and we are so grateful for their services.
Did a good job, would highly recommend them to others
Mark and Matt were both great to work with. Very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely recommend this company to all!
