Biological control is an environmentally friendly pest management strategy that harnesses natural predators, parasites, or pathogens to suppress pest populations in homes, gardens, and commercial properties. By introducing or enhancing beneficial organisms—such as predatory insects, nematodes, or microbes—biological control provides sustainable, long-term reduction of pests without relying on chemical treatments. This approach minimizes risks to people, pets, and non-target species, making it ideal for sensitive environments, organic operations, or integrated pest management (IPM) programs. Our pest control specialists assess your unique needs, select the most effective biological agents, and develop a tailored plan for safe and effective pest suppression.
Preparation for biological control is typically minimal but important for maximizing success. Clients should reduce pesticide use prior to introduction to ensure beneficial organisms can thrive. Our technicians will provide instructions for habitat preparation—such as planting specific vegetation, adjusting irrigation, or managing other pest attractants—to help support the establishment of biological agents. During service, beneficial organisms are carefully introduced or released in targeted areas, and our team monitors their establishment and pest reduction progress over time, making adjustments as needed for optimal results.
Remove all heat-sensitive items such as candles, wax-based products, medications, cosmetics, aerosol cans, vinyl records, and live plants or animals from the treatment area. Store food, chocolates, and perishables in the refrigerator or outside the area. Unplug electronics and ensure clutter is minimized to allow for optimal heat circulation.
Technicians will arrive and set up industrial heaters and fans throughout the infested area, carefully monitoring temperatures to ensure even heating. Expect to vacate the property (including pets) for the duration of the treatment, which typically lasts 6–8 hours. The team will communicate progress and notify you when it is safe to return.
Upon return, allow the property to cool and inspect treated areas for any residual pest activity. It is normal to find dead insects in the days following treatment. Resume normal cleaning routines, and follow any additional recommendations from your pest professional, such as laundering bedding or monitoring for reinfestation
We had a rental house that we found to be literally full of fleas after the tenants moved out. It was so bad that we couldn’t do any of the work that needed to be done. These guys came out promptly, treated the inside and outside and solved our flea problem. I thought the price was very reasonable too.
They showed up for the appointment time and were very professional.
Mark and Matt were both great to work with. Very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely recommend this company to all!
these guys rock! Pun intended lol. but seriously they were my 3 company to try and help me. Finally I’m free of those terrible critters. If you have problems with bedbugs please donn’ get them treated until you talk to Rock Pest control. I promise you won”t be sorry..
Mark was very helpful and navigated the process with me. Very fair pricing. I highly recommend them if you have bed bugs. Very pleased with their service and professionalism and services.
